The Association awards Athletic Scholarships to developing Alpine ski racers participating in programs within our geographic region.  With special thanks to our sponsors, White Fish Mountain Resort and Grouse Mountain Lodge in Montana , and Schure Sports, Inc., the makers of Karbon brand ski clothing and Far West Racing Association.
   We also thank our Partners who have generously provided scholarship assistance: Skiyente Ski Club (Portland,OR), Mountain High Snowsports Club (Portland, OR), Los Angeles Council of Ski Clubs, and the San Diego Council of Ski Clubs..

We are able to fund scholarships ranging in value from $250 to $1,500.  Scholarships assist athletes who are committed to pursuing a competitive Alpine racing program.  Scholarship funds may be used to offset training expenses and competition entrance fees, but may not be used for personal travel or equipment.

Any competitor who is currently (i.e., 2012- season) a United States Ski Association (USSA) licensed J1, J2, or J3 athlete, competing in a USSA affiliated Alpine Ski Racing program.  Applicants must reside in or compete with an Alpine Ski Racing Club or Team within the states of Arizona, California , Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon , Utah, Washington or Wyoming .  Athletes who have previously applied, but not awarded a scholarship, and previous scholarship recipients are all encouraged to apply.
